Book: Ribbit!
The first group began by exploring music with their body and slowly moved to exploring music and movement as animals. As they became more comfortable moving as animals, Renita and Roxane noticed they saw a story and they asked the children which animals they were.
Lucy: A raccoon.
Birk: Zorg (a poweranger).
Eloise: A raccoon.
Mia: Bunny.
Jack: Baby cheetah.
Izzy: Mama cheetah.
Harlow: Bunny.
Brady: Baby cheetah.
The children then created...
This story takes place in the jungle. The mama cheetah was hunting for food, the bunnies were hopping, and the baby cheetahs were playing with toys. The raccoons were also looking for some food and the Zorg was fighting bad guys. Then after eating the raccoons rested, but the rabbits and baby cheetahs were hungry. The bunnies ate carrots and baby cheetahs were hungry for meat. It started raining! The bunnies and raccoons ran for cover where they heard a river. At the river, the cheetahs drank the water. The baby cheetahs fell in, but the Zorg saved them. The sun came out and the animal came back together.
