Book: Rhyming Dust Bunnies
Yesterday after the children cleaned up in Dramatic Play a teacher noticed something was missing. It was the flowers that decorate the new wedding cake! Nine of these small round accessories were missing from the area.
Today the teachers brought this dilemma to the children at morning meeting.
Kath: We have a dilemma! That means a big problem. Nine of the flower decorations for the wedding cake are missing!
Morgan: Maybe a big dino ate them.
Jack: Or a tiger, or a lion.
Kath: We noticed this yesterday right after clean up while you were still here.
Now what should we do?
Jack: I can be a detective to find them.
Kath: What is a detective?
Jack: He finds things.
Brady: I can be his assistant!
Theertha: When you find it you have to wear your shoes and look in a different place.
Lauren: I know. You have to retrace your steps.
Birk: Maybe we should look in the sensory table under the kinetic sand.
Brady: I think I know some places to look, like under the microwave.
Suzette: Maybe they are behind something.

FINAL NOTE: If anyone happens to find these in pockets, or at the bottom of backpacks they can be returned with no questions asked!! Thank you!
